Union Kitchen & Tap Encinitas is excited to welcome our new Executive Chef Anthony Calamari to the family. Chef Calamari brings a plethora of experience and culinary knowledge to the team. He received his certificate in French Cooking at Tante Marie’s Cooking School, has had the opportunity to work for several fine dining establishments throughout California, and has played a major role in the culinary growth of several establishments. 

Throughout his career, Chef Calamari has worked in restaurants such as Sè San Diego, Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza & Grill, Urban Plates, and now UNION Kitchen & Tap Encinitas. He has played an integral part in menu creation, restaurant operations, and is incredibly passionate about culinary arts . We’re so excited about the fresh, elevated fall menu he’s about to roll out. In this ever changing climate we pride ourselves on remaining Devoted to the Craft. Providing our guests with the same passion for hospitality and quality ingredients you’ve come to know and love. Chef Calamari is no stranger to the industry and the UNION family is thrilled to have him on board!
